Makes 1 quart of lemonade (32 ounces)
You will need:
6 ounces lemon juice or 3-4 fresh lemons, organic is best
1 quart filtered or spring water
Approximately ¼ to 1⁄2 teaspoon of powdered stevia extract or approximately 10 drops of liquid stevia (to taste)
4-6 mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Slice lemons in half, squeeze out juice into a bowl, remove seeds. Add juice to a large pitcher. If you are using lemon juice, then add the 6 oz of lemon juice to the pitcher.
- Add 1 quart of water to the pitcher with lemon juice.
- Stir in the stevia. Taste lemonade and add more stevia if you want it sweeter.
- Slice one whole lemon and add to pitcher (optional).
- Add mint leaves (optional).
Note: monk fruit (Lo Han) can be used in place of stevia
